It’s that time of year again, where the weather gets a bit colder and things become a bit more merry. Knott’s Berry Farm sheds it’s scarier alter ego and takes on a much brighter and more optimistic tone. Knott’s Merry Farm is here! From November 22nd through January 5th, guests visiting Knott’s can experience Merry Farm for no added cost! It’s a full park celebration that comes with your park admission.
We recently dropped our full podcast, all about our experience at Knott’s Merry Farm if you’re interested in listening while checking out all these photos! The episode is below.
Of course, with every seasonal event at Knott’s, there is plenty to see, do, eat, drink, and buy. We were able to get a first hand tour of all the food, drinks, and merchandise that’s available for this years Merry Farm celebration. Let us tell you, there is so much that you’ll need when visiting the park.
Every year, the stand out food for us is Santa’s Turkey Balls. It’s quickly become a seasonal tradition to get this while visiting the park. New on the menu this year, which we also loved, was the Empanadas & Chorizo Alfredo Raviolis. Of course there are so many more, but you can CLICK HERE to see the event guide! This will also tell you which food items are available on the dining plan.
Then, let’s move onto the merchandise. Each and every year, we feel like we need EVERYTHING. Including this years new stylish Spirit Jersey. We also fell in love with the Merry Farm Loungefly backpack! But new for this year, Knott’s created an interactive ornament. This ornament interacts with the various bubble wands around the park and interacts with various shows during Merry Farm as well. It’s a cool little addition to your overall experience.

For full transparency, we spent two days at Knott’s and feel like we just began to scrape the surface of all the entertainment and holiday offerings. Of course, you have your highlights like Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas Ice Show and Home for the Holidays. But then you have hidden gems like A Calico Christmas Carol in the Bird Cage Theater. All drastically different in size, but adding major value to your ticket price. This doesn’t even take into account the various different music acts you’ll find scattered around the park and numerous pieces of entertainment.

To be honest, one of our favorite things to do at Knott’s Merry Farm is to grab a hot beverage and just take in the fantastic ambiance. The simple yet stunning holiday decor around Ghost Town, the kitschy decor of Boardwalk, and colorful and lively decorations of Fiesta Village and Camp Snoopy. Each offering a different variety of holiday personality.

But the true transformation of Knott’s Merry Farm happens when the sun sets and all the glorious twinkling lights turn on! Every inch of the park is absolutely stunning and we love the pure holiday vibes.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Merry Farm without a couple special holiday offerings. You have the Tree Lighting Ceremony & Snow and Glow in Ghost Town. Both a must see! For us, Snow and Glow takes the cake. Knott’s doesn’t mess around with their “snow” and we’ll take it over Disney’s any day! Something about the cold air, wonderful music, and lights in Ghost Town; create the perfect atmosphere for the holidays. Also, it makes for some wonderful pictures!

Visiting Knott’s Merry Farm has always been a tradition for us. We feel like we can’t miss out on the Christmas Crafts Village, Santa Snoopy, and the various delectable treats; just to name a few. We have so much fun, even though we might be missing our favorite monsters from Knott’s Scary Farm. Knott’s Merry Farm quickly helps us out with the post Halloween blues because it’s so dang hard not to smile when you’re fulling engulfed in the holiday spirit. Knott’s is able to create that special, intangible essence that makes you feel like being welcomed home for the holidays.
