Halloween Horror Nights has begun at Universal Studios Hollywood! And as usual, the hype surrounding this years HHN is off the charts. After attending this years event, we can easily see why. With 8 haunted houses, the Terror Tram, 3 scare zones, and 2 shows (that's not mentioning the pop up characters around the park), this years event is bursting at the seams and so much damn fun.

The summer season has arrived here in Southern California! Even if we've been met with a little extra June gloom. But some off beat weather has never kept us away from our favorite SoCal theme parks. Especially Knott's Berry Farm with their triple threat of experiences with Ghost Town Alive, Knott's Summer Nights, and the reimagined Fiesta Village.

Fiesta Village originally opened at Knott's Berry Farm back in 1969 to pay homage to California's deeply rooted Mexican and Spanish heritage. It was also the second "land" added to Knott's Berry Farm after the completion of Ghost Town. Much like Ghost Town, many families who've visited Knott's over the years have fond family memories of spending time in Fiesta Village. Or quite possibly it was the spot of your very first roller coaster, Montezuma's Revenge! Over the past (almost) 55 years, plenty of happy memories were made in Fiesta Village.
Right across the street from Knott's Berry Farm, you'll find Knott's Soak City! If someone were to ask me what my favorite time of year at Knotts Berry farm was, I honestly don’t think I would know how to answer because there are just so many amazing options to choose from. Do I go spooky and say Scary Farm? Do I embrace the magic of Knotts during the holidays and say Merry Farm? Or what about the undeniable magic of Ghost Town Alive? My honest answer would have to be that I love them all as their time comes around each year. And now, the time has once again come around for the amazing, the delicious, the PURPLE, Boysenberry Festival!
