Acclaimed horror production company Blumhouse brings two new live entertainment experiences, “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” and “Blumhouse: Behind the Screams,” inspired by some of its blockbuster films, to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. A trio of bone-chilling scare zones and the park’s signature Terror Tram, coupled with the terrifying line-up of eight haunted houses, round out this year’s screams, beginning on Thursday, September 7.

This golden anniversary's lineup includes three new frightening mazes (for a total of 10), five sinister scare zones and four hair-raising shows. Guests can expect to uncover unforgettable experiences that will usher in characters from Haunt history. The 50th year of Knott’s Scary Farm starts on September 21st and runs through October 31st, for a total of 29 terrifying nights. There will be nowhere to hide as hair-raising scares loom around every turn, with the debut of our newest terrifying mazes, a newly reimagined fan-favorite scare zone, and a gruesome lineup of new shows. These new haunting experiences add to the original scares that can’t be found anywhere else.

Year after year, throngs of people descend up on the Long Beach Convention Center to take part in the worlds largest Halloween and Horror convention called Midsummer Scream. To put it simply for those that don't know or haven't heard of Midsummer Scream; it's a safe space for people from all walks of life to celebrate what Halloween and Horror means to them.
Thirty years ago, Universal Studios collaborated with visionary architect Jon Jerde to mastermind the quintessential urban California street, set amid a theme park and a working production movie and television studio, and sandwiched between towering palm trees and asphalt. The result became globally known as Universal CityWalk Hollywood, a dynamic, open-air destination that redefined and reimagined contemporary shopping, dining and entertainment in Southern California.
