Halloween in Southern California: there’s nothing quite like it: Grabbing a Pumpkin spice latte on a crisp 95-degree morning and wearing your best scarf… for a grand total of 30 minutes before you realize you may be suffering from heat stroke. All joking aside; Fall in southern California doesn’t feel like much except… more summer. So how do we know it’s time to put away our beach balls and pull out our pumpkin carving kits? That’s an easy one: Halloween Horror Nights! What a better way to ring in the spooky season than with a trip to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood!!!! We had the immense pleasure of making our way out to enjoy this year’s event this past weekend, and my-oh-my was this year one for the books! This year’s iconic “Terror Tram” expands to include a cinematic twist on Jordan Peele’s blockbuster films in a crossover experience that reimagines Us, featuring The Tethered, a revolutionary army of vengeful doppelgangers, whose uprising invades the all-new Jupiter’s Claim set from the filmmaker’s latest pop nightmare, Nope, as part of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, which kicks off on Thursday, September 8.

You'll be entering Jupiter’s Claim, which is set in Southern California’s Santa Clarita Valley, and is a family-fun theme park and predicated on the white-washed history and aesthetics of the California Gold Rush. Owned and operated with evangelical pride by former child star Ricky “Jupe” Park, Jupiter’s Claim becomes a pivotal location as the characters seek to investigate mysterious, unexplained phenomena, leading them toward increasing danger and terrifying consequences.
