Hey everyone! Welcome to today’s Visit in Pictures! We’re coming to you from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For more Disney magic visit our Instagram: @paging.mr.morrow
We arrived at the park around 8:20. It didn’t open officially until 9:00.
They started to let people in the park around 8:40, but no one was allowed to go past the main entrance area pictured below.
Our first stop was Rockin’ Roller Coaster. Usually it’s around an hour wait, but because we went there immediately it was only around 20 minutes. Fun Fact: Kristina sold Steven Tyler a hot dog outside this ride when she was a cast member.
We headed to Tower of Terror after.
One of the newer additions to Hollywood Studios is the Star Wars Launch Bay. Inside, we met Chewbacca.
Our next stop was the Great Movie Ride.
One Man’s Dream is Alli’s absolute favorite attraction in Hollywood Studios. It is an emotional video about Walt Disney’s life that includes many inspirational moments in his life.
We then walked next door to Andy’s neighborhood to go on Toy Story Midway Mania and visit Buzz & Woody. They are expanding this area of Hollywood Studios, but we weren’t able to see any of the construction.
When building Pixar place, the bricks featured in the building in this picture were specially made for Disney. When adding on to this area, the brick maker was in retirement, but Disney paid for him to come out of retirement to keep consistency within the theming!
Darth Vader chicken and waffles
We were excited to see this Beauty and the Beast film poster. We also checked out the Beauty and the Beast stage show, where before the show a cast member came out and sang one of the original songs from the new movie.
There is a Star Wars show in front of the Chinese Theatre. As pictured below, you can now visit BB-8 in the launch bay.
One of the little known secrets about Hollywood Studios is that behind Rockin’ Roller Coaster, there are rare characters who come out before their evening performances. While we were there, we got to meet Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Gepetto, and Robin Hood with no wait!!
Who doesn’t love Frozen Sing Along?
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
We closed the night by seeing Fantasmic!, one of our favorite evening shows at Disney.
Thanks so much for joining us on our day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Both having a passion for Disney, they created a Disney Instagram account, @paging.mr.morrow, and are the founders of a club at their university that focuses on Disney and the Florida tourism industry. Kristina is a former cast member, and they both hope to work at Disney in the future. They frequently visit the parks and are so happy to have the opportunity to share their adventures!
