There haven’t been too many movie franchises that have scared me more than Insidious. I remember seeing an early showing of the first film while I was still at UCLA. It was the first movie in a long time that actually made me throw my hands up to my face to cover my eyes in fear. It left a mark on me and my impression of modern horror films changed. With every subsequent film in the series, it continues to haunts millions of people’s nightmares with its creative monsters, scares, overall dark atmosphere. It is truly the work of master storytellers Leigh Whannell and James Wan. After hearing that Insidious was making its return to Halloween Horror Nights, my palms immediately got clammy and my heart rate rose. I know that when they first had Insidious at the event, I was beyond nervous (just ask Nikki!) and to know it is coming back only furthers (haha get it…further)my anxious feelings. But, with the amazing craftsmanship that goes into these attractions, I can only hope I stop screaming for moments so I can stop to admire the amazing work that is going into it. Below are the details on what to expect for Insidious: Beyond the Further.

Beginning Friday, September 15, paranormal activity grips “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Hollywood in the all-new disturbing maze, “Insidious: Beyond the Further,” inspired Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures’ Stage 6 Films upcoming supernatural thriller, Insidious: Chapter 4.
