A Visit In Pictures: Universal Studios Hollywood – HOLIDAY EDITION
It’s that time of year when Halloween fades into the darkness and the spirit of the holidays hits full force! Universal Studios has transformed itself this year for the Holidays and it’s nothing short of magical! We hope you enjoy this visual journey to Universal Studios Hollywood in a Special Holiday Edition of A Visit In Pictures!
Even the characters are decked out in their holiday attire! Curious George looked toasty warm in his Santa hat and scarf!
The live music at the entry of the park is such a nice touch!
GRINCHMAS
A unique offering to Universal Studios, Grinchmas is back and in full swing! In the Universal Plaza you can meet many Whoville citizens, eat many treats and even go on a scavenger hunt!
You’re not going to see a Christmas tree like this anywhere else.
We absolutely loved the citizens of Whoville that roamed the area. They are extremely entertaining and engage every guest they come across. This Policeman was extra chatty and loved to pose for pictures!
Along side all the entertainment, there is plenty of merchandise you can take home to remind you of your visit to Whoville all year long!
Nikki was a big fan of this plush Grinch, he was mighty cute!
As mentioned before, you can get in line for a meet and greet with Max the Dog and The Grinch himself! Both brought smiles to our faces and our hearts grew three sizes!
CHRISTMAS IN THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER
Just when you thought that the Wizarding World couldn’t get any more magical, Universal has brought the spirit of the Holidays into Hogsmeade! The accent of garland, wreaths and mistletoe to the already snowy exterior of the buildings really sets the mood. Grab yourself a cup of hot butter beer (add some fire whiskey if you are of age) and enjoy a fantastic view of Hogwarts Castle!
At night you can catch The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection show. This show brought tears to our eyes. The emotion of the John Williams music on top of the gorgeous projections on the already stunning Hogwarts Castle is incredibly moving! If you want to see this show, we suggest you get a spot early or wait for the last couple of showings. Crowds can get mighty insane in that small area but the show is completely worth it, albeit short.
We hope you enjoy this visual journey to Universal Studios Hollywood! See ya next time!
