The Knott’s California Marketplace Opened on Monday, June 8th!

The Knott’s California Marketplace Re-Opened!

Us here in SoCal have sat back and watched as Florida slowly starts to re-open its business and even some of it’s theme and amusement parks. Of course we are extremely excited to finally see Knott’s, Universal, Disney, Six Flags and Seaworld open their doors; but we are happy to wait to make sure it’s safest for everyone. With that in mind, we are happy that the California Marketplace at Knott’s has re-opened with new social distancing guidelines. Another step forward to re-opening America’s First Theme Park! Below you will find info on the re-opening of the California Marketplace.

Starting Monday, June 8th additional locations of Knott’s Berry Farm’s California Marketplace re-opened to the public. The following locations will reopen: Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant, Starbucks, Cable Car Kitchen, Peanuts Headquarters, Candy Parlour, Marketplace Emporium, and Virginia’s Gift Shop, in addition to the already open Chicken-To-Go, The Knott’s Berry Market and Bakery.

Later this month, Cable Car Kitchen and TGI Fridays will re-open to the public on June 12th; and Build-a-Bear on June 20th. As we continue to follow state and CDC health guidelines these are the new safety measures and operational changes the Knott’s California Marketplace is establishing to ensure the safety of our guests. As a reminder, we ask that guests please follow the implemented health and safety guidelines when visiting.

  • All associates and guests must wear a facial covering while in the Knott’s California Marketplace store locations and restaurants – masks are not required when eating
  • Signage is present to aid guests in proper direction of travel and as a reminder to practice social distancing
  • Guests are encouraged to purchase using credit or debit transactions. If a cash transaction is necessary and cash tray will be used to avoid the possibility of hand to hand contact
  • Store occupancy is limited to less than 50% of the normal building capacity.  Cue lines outside of store locations with six-foot markers are present where applicable
