Knott’s Scary Farm is the largest and most haunting Halloween event in Southern California, with unimaginable scares and innovative thrills that can’t be found anywhere else.
Tickets go on sale on August 16th.
After a year away, Knott’s Scary Farm is coming back in 2021 and they are really slow rolling the announcements. Really creating so much anticipation for the eager fans of the event…LIKE US! Knott’s Scary Farm is running from Sept. 16th through October 31st this year and although this is a very good amount of time to get our fix, without having it for a year, it’s probably going to go by incredibly fast.
So far, there isn’t much information out about this years event. The only officially information we’ve received from the Knott’s Scary Farm social media accounts are it’s operating dates, when tickets will go on sale, Hotel Packages, and scare zones!
HOTEL PACKAGES
There are a total of 5 different hotel packages you can choose from for this years Scary Farm event. From first hand experience, after a whole night of walking…and maybe running through Southern California’s Largest Halloween Event; a walk to your hotel room sounds significantly better than a drive home. Not only that, but some of the packages include souvenirs and pre-scare dinner which we ALWAYS do during our visits. It really helps make the most out of your visit to Scary Farm! Not only that, but you can get incredible value through these packages.
SCARE ZONES
The scare zones at Scary Farm are some of the best we’ve experienced. This is just hyperbole either. We personally believe that the variety of tone, scares, and environments are not only well done but lead to a better experience during a visit. And it seems that all our of favorites are returning this year to bring the scares!
Ghost Town Streets, Forsaken Lake, Carnevil, and The Hollow are all returning for 2021. But what us dorks and massive fans of the event noticed in the announcement video was a teaser for something new potentially.
Near the end of the video, the Ghostly Conductor shines his light on the area of the map that’s between Pony Express and Bear-y Tales. Then viewers are taken to a door outside the Walter Knott Theater that reads “Blind Tiger” with a shining read light above. The Conductor then looks back at us and gives us a smile as we hear a party happening in the background. INTERESTING!
Only time will tell what exactly the team at Knott’s Scary Farm has up their spooky sleeves. We here at Theme Park Duo are game for every twist and turn! We cannot wait to get back into the fog! I Sense that this would be a new ScareZone unlike nothing we’ve seen before………………that is until now!
