KNOTT’S SCARY FARM ANNOUNCES RETURNING MAZES AND TEASES A NEW MAZE FOR 2021

The closer we get to Scary Farm, the stronger the memory of the fog filled streets fill our brain. Not only that, but the tingle on the back of your neck that might hint at something lurking around the corner. Can you tell we’re excited?

Knott’s announced today its returning maze lineup and it’s what all us super fans were expecting. Pumpkin Eater, Origins: The Curse of Calico, Dark Entities, The Depths, Dark Ride, Wax Works, and Paranormal Inc. are all returning.

Of course, Origins: The Curse of Calico is the highest on our list of returning mazes. It was stellar in terms of storytelling, maze design and overall experience. If you’re interested in see our opinions on these mazes, check out our 2019 review!

For each announcement of the lineup, there always seems to be a teaser for a new addition. They did it with The Gore-ing 20’s scare zone and now they are teasing for a whole new maze. This is clearly the one that’s being built behind Xcelerator on Board Walk. What could it be? The audio mentions “freaks”, so maybe it’s a dark rendition of a sideshow/carnival that fits within the theme of Carnevil? We did notice that they only teased one maze addition and there was a maze missing from the returning list. Special Ops: Infected is mysteriously missing from this list. Unless it’s being mashed up with this new unannounced maze? Either way, we are excited to see what’s in store for us at this years event.

As always, make sure to stay tuned to Knott’s Berry Farm social media pages and our socials for more updates in the coming weeks regarding Scary Farm. Also, check out the Knott’s website for tickets on August 16th and hotel deals!
