To celebrate its longtime partnership with the Central Florida community, the Universal Orlando Foundation this week awarded more than $1 million in grants to 30 charitable organizations. The grants will help provide everything from school supplies to innovative, after-school programming – and more. The grants were announced as the Universal Orlando Foundation enters its 25th year of serving the community. The Foundation gathered 30 community partners at a first-ever, “Celebration of Giving,” event. The event will return in 2023 and become an annual celebration of giving.

Knott's Berry Farm has many identities over the seasons in Southern California. From one moment to the next, Knott's transforms from your deepest fears to a winter wonderland. While the latter might be some peoples deepest fear, for the vast majority of visitors to the park the holidays are what fill them with warmth and joy. And when you're celebrating at Knott's Merry Farm, it's nearly impossible to leave the park without feeling the holiday spirit. As soon as you enter, you're met with the sights and sounds of the season that are impossible to ignore. Lights adorn the old wooden rooftops of Ghost Town and carolers roam around singing classic holiday songs. The complete transformation of the park really sets the stage for all the incredible offerings the park has for the season.

In the large swooping landscape of Southern California, there are many options to choose from to get your fix of Halloween. Actually, I think it's one of the most wonderful parts of SoCal. As people who love the spooky season, having a smorgasbord of Halloween celebrations to choose from allows for that itch to be scratched many different ways. One of our favorite events returning this year, which really made a lasting impact on us, was Cemetery Lane located at the Historic Heritage Square in Downtown Los Angeles.
There's something special about seeing things through the eyes of a child. When we think of our favorite Knott’s Berry Farm events, our adult minds instantly gravitate towards some of the big hitters like Scary Farm, or Boysenberry Festival. But... ask a child... and you will most likely get a very different answer. Our Daughter, for instance, after the weekend we just had would confidently state that Knott’s Spooky Farm is her favorite event at Knott’s Berry Farm!
Entertainment at Knott's Berry Farm across the multiple seasonal events is always a major highlight of our visits. Not only does Knott's provide top notch entertainment, but there's usually a plethora of options when visiting the park.
